It also emphasises the trend of the kitchen and living area blending into one. hansgrohe SilicaTec: long-lasting, robust, easy care The 450x400 mm main and 180x400 mm additional basin provide plenty of room for day-to-day kitchen chores. The granite-like material is very robust and has been specially designed for use in the kitchen. hansgrohe SilicaTec is made of nothing but quartz particles sourced in Germany with rounded edges. The hardest component of granite produces a smooth, hard and pore-free surface that is easy to clean. Dirt simply trickles off it. The material is UV- and heat-resistant. Bacteria cannot penetrate the surface, making it food safe. SilicaTec is colour-fast and resistant to food stains. Professional installation – comes with diamond drill bit The built-in sink is top mounted on a 28-40 mm thick worktop. It is suitable for a base unit measuring 80 cm or more. There are several markings underneath the sink that provide the flexibility to position the kitchen tap hole as required. This hole can be drilled cleanly and smoothly prior to installation using the diamond drill bit included in the scope of delivery. There is no need to file it down after drilling.
